The clinical study on pulpal sensation to sodium chloride solutions


Abstract
The author has studied the initial pulpal responses to 5016, 10%, 15%, 2016, 25%, 30%, and 35% solutions of sodium chloride which applied to class i cavities and class II cavities.
Twenty upper and lower molars from outpatient and dental students of the Infirmary, College of Dentistry, Seoul National University were examined.
The results were as follows :
1) 2 cases were responded to 5% solution of sodium chloride.
2) 5 cases were responded to 10% solutions of sodium chloride.
3) 10 cases were responded to 15% solution, of sodium chloride.
4) 2 cases were responded to 20106 solution of sodium chloride.
5) 1 case were responded to 25% solution of sodium chloride.
